Today the world is on fire again: the economy is breaking down; the world in its pursuit of mobility and total communication is however unable to call a halt to militant ideologies. Is
the democratic state failing? Is our economic system which has guar-anteed wealth and social stability for decades also failing? Although opposition is forming on many fronts, what can it really achieve? Is it time to revive the concept of civil disobedience and purposefully brush against the grain from time to time?
